It has a total area of 342,000 km2 and a population of over 5 million people. The terrain consists mainly of tropical rainforest with some savanna in the south. The highest peak in Congo is Mount Berongou, at 1,020 meters (3,346 ft) above sea level. The climate is generally tropical with temperatures ranging from 18°C in January to 28°C in July. To call a mobile device within Congo you must dial 00+242+ mobile network prefix + telephone number where the mobile network prefixes are either 1 or 2 depending on whether you are calling an Airtel or Orange device respectively.
