For those interested in football, it is a busy time ahead. But even those who could not care less about football will make it difficult to avoid it. World Championship which began today has made clear imprint also in the fashion world, with a series of limited editions as a result.
Nike expands with the merger of two of their most interesting sneakers to create the Nike Woven Air Foot Cape.
The shoes are, as the name suggests, a mixture of Foot Cape and Woven and downloaded their colors from the eight teams in the World Cup.
The design comes from Mike Aveni, who previously worked with Nike’s eco-line, Considered (read more about this). He took backbone to the original foot Cape-shoe and added woven parts for ventilation (and style) and the laces from the Air Zoom Total 90.
The result was a very odd, but neat and interesting shoe. You can find them at Nort Berlin among others. And are you looking for an even more remarkable variation, I think you should look at these…
In connection with skosläppet Nike has also made a football community, and a super luxurious and limited edition book of eleven associated Pray @ rbricks.
The book goes through the history of football in Brazil and includes art from the Brazilian street artists Os Gemeos (who worked with Nike in another neat project earlier). Do you think it would be a good fit on your bookshelf, you can try to answer a couple of questions Beneath and hope you win one of three copies found in Sweden.
(and it does not fit with the Nike can you greet with Paul Smith and check out his World Cup collection . He has done, yes you guessed it, a football)
